West Union man arrested on two Winneshiek County warrants

A West Union man has been arrested on two violation of probation warrants and taken to the Winneshiek County Jail.

49-year-od Ricky Ohm entered a plea agreement in 2018 on a charge of Second or Subsequent Violation of Sex Offender Registry and of Second Offense Drunk Driving.

Ohm served time at the West Union Residential Correctional Facility, but officials said after he was released from there he violated several conditions, including jeopardizing employment and residence by not showing up for work or paying his rent on time and being charged with operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent.

Ohm is being held without bond until a revocation hearing can be scheduled to determine if his probation should be revoked.
