On Thursday, Winneshiek County had 74 cumulative COVID-19 cases. As of Monday, the county has had 82 cases. Recovery numbers also rose over the weekend. There are now 55 recovered cases, up three from Thursday. The death count remains at one.
All five of the other surrounding counties also saw rises in their positive case counts since Thursday.
Allamakee County gained four more cases, resulting in a total positive case count of 150. Their recovery count rose from 129 on Thursday to 133 on Monday, and their death count remains at four.
Chickasaw County gained two more cases, resulting in a total positive case count of 50. Their recovery count rose from 44 on Thursday to 45 on Monday, and there have been no recorded deaths in the county.
Clayton County gained 13 more cases, resulting in a total positive case count of 97. Their recovery count rose from 59 on Thursday to 71 on Monday, and their death count remains at three.
Fayette County gained five more cases, resulting in a total positive case count of 80. Their recovery count rose from 40 on Thursday to 51 on Monday, and there have been no recorded deaths in the county.
Howard County gained one more case, resulting in a total positive case count of 48. Their recovery count rose from 34 on Thursday to 35 on Monday, and there have been no recorded deaths in the county.
Statewide, there have been 45,801 cumulative COVID-19 cases, 33,102 recoveries, and 878 deaths.
