Neighbors living near Quarry Hill Road have gotten the Iowa DNR to come to Decorah to investigate complaints about dusty conditions on the road.
A traffic count which exceeds 30 vehicles an hour set into motion requirements that dust control measures must be taken.
The DNR representative told neighbors he would be contacting Winneshiek County officials with the results of the study. Those results might be discussed at Monday's County Board meeting.
The neighbors have also made an appointment to speak at Monday evening's Decorah City Council meeting.
