UPDATE: Two people arrested on drug charges at a Decorah home

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says it served a search warrant on the residents of a Decorah home Thursday night, resulting in charges being filed against two people.

The search warrant served at 201 Hilltop Drive in Decorah was the result of a lengthy investigation by the Sheriff's Office.

42-year-old Decorah resident Crystal Novak was jailed and charged with serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance--methamphetamine.

48-year-old Denver, Iowa resident Justin Bonnette was jailed and charged with serious misdemeanor possession of controlled substance--methamphetamine.

This case remains under investigation, with additional arrests and charges pending. The Winneshiek County Attorney's Office and Decorah Police Department assisted the Sheriff's Office with the search warrant.
