The City of Decorah's Yard Waste Site has reopened

After being closed for more than a week, the City of Decorah's Yard Waste Site on Trout Run Road has reopened.

The Yard Waste Site will continue to be open seven days a week during daylight hours.  The Yard Waste Site is for City of Decorah residents only.

City of Decorah staffers are reminding the public that only yard waste can be taken to the site--not other garbage or waste material.  There have been a few issues with people dropping off non-yard waste items.  City staffers say if this becomes too much of a problem, restricted hours will be imposed for the Yard Waste Site.
