Residents on Highland Drive and Quarry Hill Road will meet Monday with county supervisors to discuss traffic problems caused by Locust Road detour

Locust Road will be closed for all of this summer and most of this fall.  That means cars and trucks cannot use the road during construction.

There are two official detours—one for in-town traffic and the second for through traffic—but there has also developed an unofficial detour, and residents along the route are unhappy.

Monday morning residents of Highland Drive and Quarry Hill Road will get a chance to meet with county supervisors to discuss the issues they say they are facing now.  The meeting will take place at 9:35 a.m. in the Courthouse Annex.
