Decorah City Council is asking everyone to wear a mask in public

The Decorah City Council has approved a resolution calling on all residents to "Mask Up" and embrace wearing a face mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The resolution asks Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds to issue an order requiring the use of face coverings or masks in both indoor and outdoor spaces where social distancing isn't possible.

It also calls on the Winneshiek County Board to approve a similar mandate.
