No Winneshiek County Fair this week--but livestock judging will be held--with shows NOT open to the public

The cancellation of the 2020 Winneshiek County Fair means the usual grandstand shows and food booths and commercial exhibits are not taking place this week.

In the absence of the Fair, livestock judging will be held, however--but not with the public in attendance.  Livestock shows will be one-day, "show and go" events, with exhibitors checking in and weighing in their animals at scheduled times, participating in the show and then taking all their animals home the same day as the show.  No exhibitors or animals will be on the fairgrounds overnight.

Organizers are stressing that the shows are NOT open to the public.
