Phase two of projects at the Decorah Public Library planned to start soon

A contractor meeting on Tuesday is one of the first steps to the second phase of improvement projects at the Decorah Public Library.  Tuesday's meeting is to give possible bidders a chance to ask about the planned work.

Decorah Library Director Kristin Torresdal says the main projects include replacing skylights in the roof of the library that are approaching the end of their normal life cycle; painting numerous interior walls; and replacing flooring throughout the building.

The various projects have a completion date of October 31st.
