Seed Savers to hold its first-ever virtual fundraiser concert

The first-ever Seed Savers Exchange virtual benefit concert will be held Saturday, August 1st.

The concert will be broadcast at 7:00 p.m. via Seed Savers Exchange's website (www.seedsavers.org) or its Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/seedsaversx/), featuring folk, blues, and bluegrass music.  No pre-registration is required--a recommended minimum donation of $5 can be made the day of the event.

Featured musicians will include Greg Brown, Iris DeMent, Dave Simonett of Trampled by Turtles, Lissie, David Huckfelt, Pieta Brown, Malcolm Holcombe, Annie Humphrey, Buffalo Nichols, Joe and Vicki Price, and Karen Savoca and Pete Heitzman.

In addition to the musicians, speakers will include Winona LaDuke—noted environmentalist, economist, and writer—and Rowen White, co-founder of Sierra Seeds and Seed Savers Exchange board member.
