The Decorah Viking Athletic Booster Club Endowment Fund has been established with the Winneshiek County Community Foundation. The endowment fund will provide long-term financial support for students and activities programs of the Decorah Community School District.

"Extracurricular activities play an important role in the educational setting," says Decorah High School Activities Director Adam Riley.  "We have high student participation and success with our activities, so we are always looking for consistent funding support and we are thankful for the Decorah Viking Athletic Booster Club to help make that happen with the endowment fund."

The DVABC is a volunteer-led organization that raises funds to support students and activities programs of the Decorah Community School District. Through active participation of parents, students and supporters of the Decorah Schools, the DVABC works closely with administrators and coaches to meet financial needs of the extracurricular programs.

Gifts of any size to the fund are welcome and can be made on the Community Foundation's secure website at www.fund.cfneia.org/dvabc. Gifts can be also be made by check to the Community Foundation of Northeast Iowa, 3117 Greenhill Circle, Cedar Falls, IA, 50613.
