Nighttime photo of the Highway 9 bridge has been donated to the City of Decorah

The photo is being given in memory of longtime Decorah attorney Marion Beatty by his family and by WHKS Engineering.  Peggy Beatty donated the picture to WHKS, which in turn donated it to the City of Decorah.

Kjome's photo, "Hazy Catwalk," was taken before the LED lights on the bridge were turned on.  Kjome wore black clothing so he did not show up in the photo.  Then he set his camera on a tripod with the shutter opened for as long as possible and rode across the bridge with blue LED lights taped to the outer rim of a bicycle wheel.
