Winneshiek County Recycling Coordinator Terry Buenzow is leaving for a job in Wisconsin

The only director the Winneshiek County Recycling Center has ever known since it became a public facility in 2009 is leaving to take a job in Cottage Grove, a suburb of Madison, Wisconsin.

Terry Buenzow has overseen a huge growth in the recycling program in Winneshiek County.  His resignation was announced Monday by Winneshiek County Board Chair John Logsdon.  Logsdon says Buenzow will work through September and then move to the Madison area.
