County supervisors visit Daley Bridge to see where canoeists and kayakers have been parking

Winneshiek County Supervisors Thursday morning visited the Daley Bridge on Cattle Creek Road to get an up-close look at the site of numerous parking problems this spring.

Crowds of canoeists and kayakers have driven to the bridge to put in or take out from a paddle on the Upper Iowa River.  However, neighboring property owners have complained they have had their farm driveways blocked by the visitors or have had trouble getting their farm equipment through cars parked on both sides of the road..
