While local COVID-19 numbers plateau, state numbers climb

While local COVID-19 numbers remain steady, statewide numbers continue to climb.

Iowa's current positive case count total is 26,601. Yesterday's was 251 cases lower at 26,350. The recovery count has also risen 260 from yesterday to bring the total to 16,727. The death count is at 690 -- an increase in two deaths from yesterday.

Locally, all numbers stay the same as yesterday. Allamakee County has 122 positive cases, 90 recovered cases, and four deaths. Chickasaw County has 20 positive and 15 recovered cases. Clayton County has 35 positive cases, 31 recovered cases, and three deaths. Fayette County has 30 positive and 28 recovered cases. Howard County has 14 positive and 10 recovered cases. Winneshiek County has 24 positive and 24 recovered cases.
