Registration is now open for summer classes at ArtHaus

Like many organizations and businesses in Decorah, ArtHaus has had to made some changes to their summer programming because of Covid-19, but Executive Director Shannon Dallenbach Durbin says ArtHaus is open and ready to accept online registration for summer classes.

"We know that times are tricky," says Durbin. "We appreciate everyone who is choosing to stay home, but we also know that creative expression helps people connect with their community and offers mental health benefits, too."

In order to meet the needs of the community while also protecting everyone's safety, ArtHaus has changed their summer class schedule. Classes will be shorter, but will be offered more frequently. Class sizes will be limited and regular hand washing will be expected. ArtHaus has also dropped their usual age grouping for summer classes and will keep family units together.

Should you want to explore creatively without a class, ArtHaus offers Open Studio passes for individuals, duos and families, available online or at the front desk.

ArtHaus is open Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
