Waucoma man is identified as the driver of a wrecked truck

Winneshiek County Sheriff's Deputies have ticketed 41-year-old Daniel Houdek of Waucoma following a Saturday morning traffic accident.

Deputies responded to a report of a truck in the ditch on 123rd Street near Festina. They searched the area, but found nobody at the scene of the accident. The truck had a smashed roof and windshield, and appeared that it had rolled after entering the ditch.

A few hours later, Houdek was identified as the driver. He was issued a ticket for failure to maintain control of his vehicle.
