Local positive COVID-19 numbers plateau while recoveries rise

There are no new positive COVID-19 cases in the surrounding counties, and recovered cases continue to rise in Allamakee and Fayette County.

Allamakee County's recovered case count has risen from 89 yesterday to 90 today. They now have 30 active positive cases. Fayette County's recovered case count has risen from 26 yesterday to 27 today. They now have one active case.

Chickasaw still has 7 active cases; Clayton has 5 active cases; Howard has 2 active cases; and Winnshiek has no active cases.

Statewide, there are 8,935 active positive cases, a decrease from yesterday's count of 9,075.
