Statewide COVID-19 death count surpasses 600

In Iowa, there have been 606 deaths from COVID-19. In the surrounding area, only Allamakee and Clayton County have reported death counts of 4 and 3, respectively.

Statewide, there have been 21,919 positive COVID-19 cases. 12,844 of those cases have recovered.

Locally, Winneshiek County still has no active cases. Howard has two active cases, Clayton has five, and Allamakee has 31. Active case counts have risen from five yesterday to seven today in Chickasaw County and from one to two in Fayette County.
