Free virtual counseling is now offered to Iowans who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic as a result of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) giving Iowa $1 million in funding.

The program, called "COVID Recovery Iowa," starts today. Counseling is available to people of all ages and will happen via virtual sessions, chat or phone call.

To access free virtual counseling:
Call 800-447-1985 to connect with a counselor specializing in rural issues and agriculture, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Call the Iowa Warm Line, 844-775-9276, for a peer counselor or a COVID Recovery Iowa counselor.

Visit covidrecoveryiowa.org to complete the contact form and get connected with a counselor.
