Decorah resident Elizabeth Leschensky joins Winneshiek Medical Center's Decorah Clinic

Family medicine health care provider Elizabeth Leschensky has joined the staff of Decorah Clinic.  She sees patients from birth through end-of-life for preventive care, acute illnesses and chronic disease management.
 
"Following the recent closure of the clinic in Waukon, I am grateful to have the opportunity to work at Winneshiek Medical Center and continue my practice in rural health care," says Elizabeth.  "My Waukon–based patients who want to continue with me as their provider can easily transfer their care to Winneshiek Medical Center, and I look forward to establishing new relationships with individuals and families looking for a family medicine provider."
 
Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Luther College, and her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Alaska--Anchorage.  She has been a nurse practitioner for over 20 years.
