There are now 23 COVID-19 cases in Winneshiek County

Three additional COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Winneshiek County over the last four days.

That means there have been a total of 23 confirmed cases of the disease since March.  More than three-quarters of the cases have involved people from the ages of 18 to 60.  18 of the 23 patients have recovered, with the rest in self-isolation.

Statewide, Iowa has had 17,577 positive cases of COVID-19.  459 Iowans have died from the disease.
