The campaign of District 55 Iowa House candidate Kayla Koether has released results of a survey of Northeast Iowans which shows more than 42 percent are concerned about themselves, their families or others in the area having enough food and essentials during the current pandemic.

The online survey included questions related to their health and well-being.  "The number of local folks worried for themselves or others is a concern for us all," said Koether, a Democrat.

That result was counterbalanced by the fact that 74 percent of people responding feel supported by their community "often" or "always."

The survey was conducted as part of Democrat Kayla Koether's campaign for the Iowa House of Representatives
