Seth Shindelar Awarded Adam J. Bohr Memorial Engineering Scholarship

Decorah High School graduate Seth Shindelar has been awarded the 2019-2020 Adam J. Bohr Memorial Engineering Scholarship.

The scholarship is given by the Bohr family and McClure Engineering in honor of the late Adam Bohr of Decorah. The scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing the field of engineering and is based on scholastic standing, community involvement, and extracurricular activities.

Shindelar will receive $4,000, paid over two years, for his pursuit of engineering study. He plans to attend Iowa State University to study engineering.

"Adam was full of energy and not afraid to take on tough challenges. His personality would light up a room – not typical of most engineers," said McClure CEO Terry Lutz, adding, "When selecting a scholarship winner, we try to find someone who best represents Adam and we believe Seth does just that."
