Luther College employee tests positive for COVID-19

A Luther College employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

In response to an inquiry by decorahnews.com, Luther College has released the following statement:

"On (Monday), Luther College was made aware by an employee that they received test results confirming a diagnosis of COVID-19. In accordance with federal laws related to health care information, we are not able to publicly identify individuals who have reported a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19."

However, the statement did say the individual had limited or no direct contact with other employees prior to diagnosis and is now isolating at home.
