Two newest COVID-19 patients in Winneshiek County are self-isolating

After two weeks of not having a new COVID-19 patient in Winneshiek County, two new people have contracted the disease.

Winneshiek County Public Health Director Krista Vanden Brink says the two new people "are currently self- isolating and managing their symptoms well." 

Vanden Brink is reminding people to continue to practice good hand hygiene, to wear a mask when leaving the house, to physically distance themselves from others and to limit trips for necessities.

Winneshiek County has had 20 postive COVID-19 results, with 17 of the patients pronounced recovered.
