The latest COVID-19 statistics

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Winneshiek County has now plateaued for two weeks. As of Saturday, there were 18 cases locally--the same figure as from May 3rd.

Three counties in Iowa now have more than 1,000 confirmed COVID-19 cases: Polk County has 2,922; Woodbury County has 2,215; and Black Hawk County has 1,587.

Although Polk County has the highest number of coronavirus cases in Iowa, on a per person basis, it is 13th in the state, lower than 12 other counties, including Allamakee County, which now has 114 cases.
