Luther College is preparing to take several steps to protect the health of students when classes resume this fall.
The school has increased cleaning routines throughout the campus. It will also rearrange physical spaces in buildings and dormitories to enable social distancing and protect Luther staff.
Luther is also working on acquiring Personal Protective Equipment, hand sanitizers, sanitizing wipes, masks, and other protective items.
Luther officials also are investigating protocols for testing and contact-tracing methods in case of an infection on campus. It is also establishing quarantine locations for students who may become infected.
The college announced late Wednesday that it plans to welcome students back to campus this fall.
