Howard County meat processing plant named as having a COVID-19 outbreak

The Iowa Department of Public Health has confirmed a COVID-19 outbreak at a Howard county meat processing plant.

IDPH Deputy Director Sarah Reisetter told a news conference Wednesday that Upper Iowa Beef in Lime Springs has a "confirmed" outbreak, but did not immediately provide further details.
