The number of COVID-19 cases in Winneshiek County remains at 18

The latest figures from the Iowa Department of Public Health show the number of COVID-19 cases holding steady in Winneshiek County, with some modest increases of the total cases in surrounding counties.
Winneshiek County still has 18 COVID-19 cases, with all but two of them considered recovered. Allamakee County now has 113 cases--up by 12 from the 101 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of last Friday. In other Northeast Iowa counties, Clayton County now has 28 confirmed cases, up 7 from last Friday; Fayette County remains steady at 24 confirmed cases; Howard County remains steady at 12 confirmed cases; and Chickasaw County has one additional case, with a new total of seven confirmed cases.
The Iowa Department of Public Health is now also calculating COVID-19 cases as a percentage of county residents. Using that metric, Allamakee County's COVID-19 total represents 0.817 percent of its population; Clayton County's total involves 0.159 percent of its population; Howard County's total involves 0.131 percent of its population; Winneshiek County's total invoves 0.090 percent of its population; and Chickasaw County's total represents 0.059 percent of its population.
