Grab and Go Program approved to run into June

The USDA has extended the waiver to allow the Grab and Go Program to be served past May 29th, which was originally scheduled as the last day of school. With the approved extension, the program will continue through part of June. The final Grab and Go will be offered on June 19th.

Decorah School District Superintendent Mark Lane comments that the program is funded by the USDA.

At this time, organizers are unsure if they will need more volunteers as they plan to offer positions to current staff first.
