Decorah native Paul Numedahl has been hired as the Humboldt High School Principal

The new Humboldt High School Principal this fall will be Decorah native Dr. Paul Numedahl.

Numedahl had been working as the assistant principal at a high school in Monument, Colorado, for the past several years.  He and his wife wanted to move back to Iowa to be closer to family.

Numedahl received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls and earned his master's degree and doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of Iowa.
