16 students from St. Benedict School--in 6th, 7th and 8th grades--are participating in the State History Day contest this week. This year's theme is "Breaking Barriers in History."

The contest will be held virtually this year.  Students submit their projects online.  Judges will be evaluating each project from their homes. Their teachers for History Day are Patty Lien and Judy Franzen.

Students will learn Friday if their project has made it onto the "Virtual" National History Day contest in June.
