Several readers have asked: "Governor Reynolds has lifted restrictions on library operations. What are the plans for reopening Decorah Public Library?"
Decorah Public Library Director Kristin Torresdal replies: "The Decorah Library Board will discuss next steps for resuming library services at their Monday, May 11th meeting…In the meantime, the library will remain closed to the public for the safety of patrons and staff.
Wi-Fi continues to be available around the exterior of the building, digital materials (e-books, digital audiobooks, magazines, and films) are available for free online, and we're offering digital programming for children and families. Additional resources can be found on our website and Facebook page."
