COVID-19 cases in Iowa now total over 9,000

The number of COVID-19 cases in Iowa continues to rise.
The latest numbers reported by the Iowa Department of Public Health--numbers as of 10:00 Saturday morning--show 9,196 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with 184 deaths.
14 Iowa counties now have over 100 cases, with Polk County and Black Hawk County having over 1,000 cases as of 10:00 a.m. Saturday.
Winneshiek County's COVID-19 cases have increased to 18. Allamakee County has 98 cases, including three deaths. Fayette County reports 22 cases; Clayton County has 15; Howard County has 10 and Chickasaw County has 5. Floyd County has now reported its first COVID-19 case, Only 8 of Iowa's 99 counties have not yet reported a COVID-19 case.
