The number of COVID-19 confirmed patients in Iowa is now higher than the population of Decorah

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds announced Friday that another 740 Iowans have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.

That brings the total of positive results to 7,885 people--which is higher than Decorah's estimated 2018 population of 7,594.

Winneshiek County has 15 positive COVID-19 patients, while Allamakee County has 89; Fayette County has 20; Clayton County has 14; Howard County has 10; and Chickasaw has 5.
