Winneshiek County Public Health Director Krista Vanden Brink says local health care workers continue to try to work through a shortage of personal protective equipment.
Vanden Brink says a shipment of 13 boxes which arrived recently has helped the situation, but "we don't have enough" masks and gowns and goggles. She says it might be necessary to reuse cloth gowns, goggles and even N-95 masks. She told county officials that the situation would be worse, but currently there are no hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Winneshiek County.
