Decorah Middle School students are getting a video sent to them by school teachers and staff

The video was photographed and edited by Decorah Middle School staff members Kathy Oftedahl, Sue Sander, Denise Lee, and Amy Courtney.  They collected portraits of middle school faculty and staff who were in their homes, self-isolating.  Some of those pictured also shared words of encouragement and hope.

Decorah Middle School art teacher Amy Courtney remarked, "We are using this project as an Art & Computer Challenge for students next week; the directions will be posted on their Continuous Learning page. Ideally, this is meant as a springboard for students to create their own interpretation that will be edited once photographs have been collected."
