The latest COVID-19 statistics

Winneshiek County Public Health says an 11th county resident has been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
However, of the previous ten diagnosed patients in the county, only one was hospitalized--and that person has recovered and has been discharged.
Winneshiek County now has had an employee at a meat processing plant and an employee at a nursing home diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
Statewide, Iowa has had 4,445 confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 521 new positive patients Thursday, the highest one-day total yet. The state had 11 new deaths Thursday, bringing the total number of deaths to 107.
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds on Friday said the state has now "significantly upped" its testing capacities and a total of 31,973 people have been tested for the virus.
