Decorah man injured in a roll-over accident

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office responded to a single-vehicle accident on Old Stage Road that happened sometime on Wednesday.

22-year-old Kohl Schnuelle of Decorah was traveling west on Old Stage Road at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a left curve. Schnuelle went off the north side of the roadway, went airborne off a steep embankment, and rolled several times while striking numerous trees. Schnuelle was ejected from the vehicle. Schnuelle was flown by helicopter to Gundersen in La Crosse.
