One of the two young eaglets at the Decorah North Nest has died

The Raptor Resource Project is reporting that one of the two newborn eaglets at the Decorah North Nest--eaglet DN11—has died.

The eaglet appeared to have some sort of obstruction, appeared lethargic and was moving slowly with some breathing difficulty.  Shortly after those actions were noted, the eaglet died.

The other Decorah North Nest eaglet--DN12—is still doing well, as are the three eaglets at the Decorah Hatchery nest.
