A second Allamakee County resident has died from COVID-19

Allamakee County is reporting its second death from COVID-19. The death was disclosed by the Iowa Department of Public Health.

No further details have been disclosed as of now. Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds at her daily news conference Wednesday morning said that all of Iowa's 53 deaths from COVID-19 "have been of older or elderly patients."
