The rise of working from home during the coronavirus outbreak has led to a boom in the use of teleconferencing software such as Zoom.
Recently, however, there have been reports of hackers attacking Zoom conferences in order to disrupt them.
Decorah Tech at 1015 Paine Stree says there are steps you can take to make sure your meeting runs smoothly. First, it's important to require a password to join your meeting. DO NOT host a meeting using your Personal Meeting ID, but use the random meeting IDs Zoom generates.
Also, be sure to use the waiting room feature on Zoom, which you can find at Settings> Meeting (advanced)> select Waiting Room. This gives you control over who is admitted to your meeting.
