State of Iowa gets off to a rocky start of website with county-by-county COVID-19 statistics

COVID-19 statistics specific to Winneshiek County are now available to the public.

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds Tuesday morning announced the launch the new website, but it crashed later on Tuesday. The information information is now available at: https://coronavirus.iowa.gov/

For Winneshiek County, the website says 97 people have been tested for coronavirus, with five of them being confirmed cases. Of those five, three have fully recovered. There have been no deaths.

The web page has statistics not just on the number of confirmed cases per county, but the number of COVID-19 tests per county. Other county-specific statistics also appear on the website.
