There was no public testimony Monday night about the 2020-2021 Decorah School District budget, and the document was unanimously approved by the five Decorah School Board members.
Next year's budget calls for a 2.3 percent increase in the allowable growth formula, which is slightly higher than the 1.74 average from the previous five years.
"We're thankful we got the 2.3 percent increase," said Superintendent Mark Lane, while School Board President Ron Fadness highlighted that school funding will be stable next year.
Also Monday night, school board members voted unanimously to continue hiring Hacker, Nelson & Co. to perform the annual audit of the school district's finances.
