19-year-old Brandon McEndree, formerly of Decorah, has changed his plea to guilty of two counts of Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
McEndree was one of four people who went to a house on College Drive last December, then were arrested by police following a disturbance in which weapons were involved. McEndree has agreed to a sentence of 220 days in jail on each count, with the sentences to run concurrently for what will be around 14 months. He will also pay an $850 fine.
McEndree is the second person to enter a guilty plea in connection with the disturbance. 18-year-old David Harn of Decorah earlier entered guilty pleas to four charges: First Offense Second Degree Robbery; Robbery in the Second Degree; Possession of Marijuana and Keeping premises for Drugs. He was sentenced to up to 10 years in prison on the two robbery charges; up to 180 days in prison on the possession of marijuana charges and up to two years in prison on the keeping premises for drugs charge. The sentences will run concurrently. Harn will have to serve at least seven years in prison before being eligible for parole.
Two other people still have trials pending: 18-year-old Jordan Sullivan of 2700 College Drive faces one count of Assault Causing Bodily Injury and one count of 4th Degree Criminal Mischief, while 21-year-old David Brewer III faces one count of 4th Degree Criminal Mischief and one count of 5th Degree Theft.
