Face shields are among the personal protective equipment needed by hospitals and clinics. That's why a donation of face shields Wednesday afternoon was appreciated by Winneshiek Medical Center staffers.

The face shields were made using a 3D printer owned by Central Rivers Area Education Agency. CRAEA employee Ashley Sires, the daughter of WMC's Brenda Dietiker, oversaw the project, then personally delivered the reusable face shields to WMC.

The face shields will now be used by WMC staff for patient care.
