It's been almost 34 days since the mother eagle laid her third egg at the Decorah Hatchery nest, and according to the Raptor Resource Project website, her third egg always hatches between days 36 and 37. If she goes 36 days, which is fairly common, the hatch should happen on Thursday.

This morning, as if on cue, the third egg pipped -- poked a hole through its shell. Visit https://youtu.be/2p72qCmZTdw to watch.
