Now there are four. Two of the eggs at the Decorah Hatchery bald eagle nest have now hatched, joining the two eggs which hatched earlier at the Decorah North nest.
The new eaglets, named "D34" and "D35," are now waiting for the third egg—"D36," of course—to hatch.
Meanwhile, "DN11" and "DN12" are both eight days old. DN11 has already explored outside the eggcup, which Raptor Resource experts say is "a milestone in an eaglet's life."
