This year's Decorah Egg Hunt will happen on social media

The Decorah Parks and Recreation Department is changing its annual Decorah Egg Hunt because of COVID-19.

Through Sunday of this week, Decorah residents and Decorah business owners are being asked to create eggs and hang them in their windows and storefronts.

Make the eggs out of whatever materials you already have on hand like paper, cardboard, or plastic eggs that can hang from a string. The goal is for the creative eggs to be seen by walkers and those passing by in their vehicles to create a fun community-wide event in lieu of our annual egg hunt.
